Uricase (EC 1.7.3.3)
Uricase catalyzes the reaction of: Uric Acid + O2 + H2O → Allantoin
+ H2O2 + CO2. The enzyme is extensively used in the determination of
uric acid in biological fluids. Diazyme’s Uricase is chromatographically
purified from Candida utilis.
