Peroxidase (EC 1.11.1.7)
Peroxidase from Horseradish root is chromatographically
purified. The enzyme catalyzes the reaction of:
Donor + H2O2 → Oxidized donor + 2H2O
The enzyme has a molecular weight of approximately 40,000,
and optimum pH of 6.0-6.5. The enzyme is useful for the determination
of H2O2 in clinical
analysis.
