Bilirubin Oxidase catalyzes the following reaction:
Bilirubin + O2 → Biliverdin + H2O
The recombinant enzyme has a molecular weight of 61 kDa. The enzyme is stable from pH 7.0 to 11.0. The optimum pH is 6.0.
